Advanced Projects Specialist
Job Description
- Focus on conveyor systems for future Vehicle Process Engineering (VPE) launches.
- Support project feasibility, including:
- Financial requirements and budget planning.
- Project preparation and planning.
- Conveyor architecture and system design.
- Cost estimation and resource allocation (FTE planning).
- Engineering strategy development and progress tracking.
- Oversee conveyor, automation, robotics, and facilities in Body-in-White (BIW), General Assembly (GA), and Paint areas.
- Contribute to Capex reduction, asset reutilization, asset procurement, and engineering design.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Specialist Manager to lead cross-functional teams.
- Align projects with company Vehicle Process Engineering goals and strategies.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or HSD
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing & Vehicle Process Engineering environment
- Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in project management
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in forecasting and estimating cost for projects
- Strong understanding of Conveyor machine and process
- Innovative thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access, Outlook and SQL)
- Self-directed and motivated to implement change within the direction and scope of Stellantis Senior Management
- Program Management & GVD timing
- Microsoft 365 Tools including Power BI
