Boiler Specialist for Industrial Incinerators-RUWAIS, ABU DHABI, UAE

Job Description

Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform thorough diagnostics to identify malfunctions in boilers and associated systems.
- Repair or replace defective components, including burners, heat exchangers, pumps, and control systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance operations to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to monitor boiler performance and anticipate maintenance needs.
- Maintain up-to-date maintenance records and write detailed reports on interventions performed.
Installation and Replacement:
- Plan and execute the installation of new boilers in incinerators, adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate the replacement of existing boilers, minimizing service interruptions.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of new installations.
- Perform commissioning tests to ensure the proper functioning of new boilers and compliance with performance requirements.
- Train staff on the use and maintenance of new installations.

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial boilers, preferably in incinerators.
Expertise in boiler installation and replacement, with in-depth knowledge of commissioning procedures.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Boiler maintenance certification (a plus).
CICPA qualification
