Electrical Motor Expert
Job Description
In this role, the main activities will be the following :
Motor Sub-System Development:
- Identify and implement innovative solutions for motor performance and features.
- Ensure compliance with tools like DFMEA, CSRA
- Ensure that the 3D and 2D models are alligned with the techincal requirements specified by the client
Full Lifecycle Management:
- Manage portfolios of electric motors, including component supply specifications, design guidelines, roadmaps, IP databases, and cost models.
Collaboration:
- Work with suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to analyze and implement technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively across regions and cultures in a matrix organization.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you should have the following set of skills :
- Experience and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on DC motor design.
- Strong proficiency in 3D design and as a plus, in motor testing, operation, and reliability analysis.
- Advanced Skills:
- Deep understanding of electronic power drivers for brushless motors and control techniques.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D reports.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
- Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a Technical Project Leader
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards.
- Availability to relocate in Italy, at the client offices / plant
