BIW Process Supervisor

Job Description

Lead the development and implementation of BIW Automatic process equipment, tools and related facilities for new model assembly production
Drive continuous improvement into the processes and equipment while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program
Directly report to manufacturing process engineers who lead the development of the BIW assembly process creation and tooling for new vehicle launches
Interface with multiple organizations (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc.) to understand components/subsystems for vehicles
Use information obtained to generate process sheets, assembly layouts, installation tooling as well as special manufacturing requirements
Lead Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities with the platform team for new/critical processes.
Perform employee evaluation and coaching

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
+10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
Vehicle manufacturing experience
Proven program/project management skills.
Ability to effectively work and interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficient presentation and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
