Feasibility Supervisor

Job Description

Lead and coordinate feasibility studies for new automotive products and processes.
Conduct carrier studies to optimize transportation and handling methods for automotive components.
Perform platform assessments to evaluate the feasibility and scalability of automotive platforms.
Develop comprehensive process maps for current and incoming products to streamline manufacturing processes.
Assess tooling requirements and provide recommendations for improvement or optimization.
Utilize Siemens Software, including Teamcenter and VisMock, for design, analysis, and collaboration purposes.
Implement product shingling techniques to maximize assembly line efficiency and space utilization.
Monitor product timing and development milestones to ensure adherence to project schedules.
Identify and drive Design to Manufacturing (DtM) opportunities to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within the automotive industry.
Proven expertise in product and process planning and assessment, including carrier studies and platform assessments.
Proficiency in Siemens Software, particularly Teamcenter and VisMock, with hands-on experience in their utilization.
Strong understanding of tooling and fixtures, with the ability to assess and optimize tooling requirements.
Familiarity with product shingling techniques and process flow optimization.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
