Design Engineer

Job Description

As part of the development projects for passenger cars / commercial vehicles with diesel engine units, the colaborator will independently work on design-related tasks in accordance with the scopes of work and component scopes described below, from concept development (including later milestones if applicable) to product, as well as further development of the parts in series production :

Proposal of Design/Technical Solutions
Development of Design Concepts
3D Tolerance Investigations
Creation of Drawing
Creation of Assemblies
Design parametric Tubes and Pipes
Design Brackets using Sheetmetal tool
Design of air intake, exhaust and fixed parts of the engine

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you shoud have the follwoing set of skills :

VW design work environment
Engine and Powertrain general knowledge
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Consultation/Alignment with Customer regarding Design/Technical Solution
English – Fluent / German – is a Plus
CREO Elements (additionally Catia V5)
KVS
Connect
ECA /FREIA /TERRAPORT is a plus
B2B-Plattform (NOLIS, NVS, VAMOS) is a plus
MS-Office
