Engine Technical Leader

Job Description

In the role of Engine Technical Leader, you will be responsible of leading the development of various systems and subsystem from a certain perimeter of the engine (air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts), your main activities including:

Interpret and analyze technical documents in both French and English, ensuring clear understanding and actionable insights.
Provide expertise in the automotive sector, with a particular focus on the development of thermal and hybrid engine components, including: air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts etc.
Conduct and lead development activities for automotive components following the client processes, including:
- D2Q methodologies
- Development logic and validation methods
- Incident management processes
- Product and process modification workflows during series production
Exhibit strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms, particularly in English, for activities such as:
- Meeting facilitation and leadership
- Writing technical reports, summaries, and standard documentation (e.g., capitalized files, synthesis notes, and standards).
Adapt quickly to agile workflows, ensuring effective collaboration and iterative development in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in automotive engineering with a specialization in powertrain systems (thermal and hybrid).
Strong leadership abilities to guide development teams and coordinate complex projects.
Fluent in English, both oral and written, French is a plus.
Ability to construct relevant synthesis for the impacted stakeholders.
Know-how of PLM tools (NPDM, CatiaV6).
