Job Description

  1. Quality Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of   quality management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including ISO standards and other relevant quality frameworks.
    1. Implementation and Maintenance: Responsible for implementing and maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 QMS across all relevant departments and processes within the organization.
    2. Compliance: Ensuring that the organization meets all the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and stays up to date with any changes or revisions to the standard.
    3. Auditing: Conducting internal audits to assess the organization's compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and identifying areas for improvement.
    4. Documentation: Overseeing the creation, review, and update of all QMS-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    5. Training and Awareness: Providing training to employees at all levels to ensure a clear understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 requirements and the importance of quality management.
    6. Continuous Improvement: Implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS.
    7. External Certification: Preparing the organization for external audits by certification bodies to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification.
    8. Reporting: Regularly reporting to top management on the performance of the QMS and recommending actions for improvement.
    9. Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and to ensure QMS integration throughout the organization.
    10. Risk Management: Integrating risk management practices into the QMS to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact quality.
  2.  Quality Assurance & Control:
    1. Commitment to understanding customer needs and expectations to deliver products or services that meet or exceed their requirements.
    2. Quality Control: Implementing inspection, testing, and quality control processes to identify and rectify any non-conformities during production or service delivery. In-depth knowledge and understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including ISO standards and other relevant quality frameworks.
  3. Customer Focus:
    1. Collaborating with customers and addressing their quality concerns or feedback to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
    2. Commitment to understanding customer needs and expectations to deliver products or services that meet or exceed their requirements.

Engineering Graduation / Post Graduation with appropriate Experience in Automotive / Auto-Ancillary/ Engineering Services Industry. Below are the skills sets/ Qualities & Competencies expected,


  1. Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills to inspire and guide teams, set clear quality objectives, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  2. Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate quality requirements, provide guidance, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  3. Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify quality issues, root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address them.
  4. Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions based on quality-related metrics and performance indicators.
  5. Auditing: Ability to conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards, regulations, and organizational procedures.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management to drive process optimization and efficiency.
  7. Risk Management: Skill in identifying potential quality risks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize their impact on product or service quality.
  8. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure a consistent approach to quality management.
  9. Training and Development: Ability to design and deliver effective training programs to enhance employees' understanding of quality processes and standards.
  10. Decision-Making: Sound decision-making skills to prioritize quality initiatives, allocate resources, and implement improvement strategies.
  11. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all quality-related processes and procedures are followed accurately.
  12. Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing quality demands, market conditions, and technological advancements
