Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced PMC Civil Supervisor to oversee civil construction activities for a high-profile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra, Iraq. The Civil Supervisor will be responsible for managing and monitoring civil works, including earthworks, foundations, structural works, and other related activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and experience in large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Oversee excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, and structural construction activities.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve construction-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, drawings, and project specifications for all civil works.
• Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials.
• Review and approve method statements, work plans, and other technical documentation related to civil construction.
• Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress updates, delays, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and foster a culture of safety on-site.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting milestones, risks, and mitigation measures.
