Job Description


Lead the design and release of minor modified closures systems ¿ locks, latches, etc. -Support the lead D&R engineers on Major modified closure systems ¿ liftgate, hood etc. -Work with cross functional team to deliver cost and weight objectives. -Work with Studio, Manufacturing, suppliers, and interface systems Design engineers to incorporate design requirements and ensure design feasibility. -Lead engineering processes like BOM sign off, FMEA and quality control plans, design reviews with suppliers, Finance, Purchasing, CAE, Quality, Manufacturing, interface modules and attributes, to support design deliverables. -Participate in team meetings and present system status, highlight risks and opportunities on the vehicle program. -Support proto build and launch activities on-site at the Ford Manufacturing plants, globally.

Skills Required:

-Sound knowledge of engineering processes. -Highly proactive - able to demonstrate and inspire a `can do' attitude. -Show strong emotional maturity and resilience. -Able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and the internal teams. -Excellent interpersonal, persuasive and team working skills


Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar`.
