WE ARE LOOKING FOR PROJECT LEADERS TO GOTHENBURG!

As a Project Manager, you will lead strategically important projects for our customers, primarily in industrial development and product development within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for leading project groups, and for managing technical decisions, times, budget within projects and drive cost savings. The Project Manager role includes handling requirements, risk analysis, definition and coordination. You may also need to establish project-, test- and evaluation plans.

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe that you are an independent and experienced assignment leader who can drive projects towards high goals, from start to implementation. You have worked for a couple of years with project management, preferably in the automotive industry, and are an open, down-to-earth person. You easily absorb and understand new information, are used to searching for information and are not afraid to maintain contact with various stakeholders. Your communication skills in Swedish and English are very good, both speaking and writing.

To thrive in this role, you should be structured, analytical and with a good ability to meet different cultures and people. You are collaborative with a high level of service and have a burning interest in technology. You enjoy working in cross-functional organizations, are focused and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Technology, or higher education level
At least three years' practical experience of project management
Experience of work in technical project environment, quality work, finance & requirements
Good technical understanding

My philosophy:

My role at SEGULA Technologies:

I work in the energy sector as an assistant project manager and works supervisor.

My role is to work as part of an implant team on the client’s site and to be their go-to contact for the management of works and timetables. I also manage relations with the companies they award their contracts to and their departments involved in projects. I operate on the ground, where I supervise the work site.

Professional experience:

After six years with various companies (in industrial and technical sectors), I joined SEGULA via the company SECOMAT in April 2016.

I completed a three-year assignment as an assistant works supervisor for our client GRTgaz, and since April 2019 I’ve been managing short-term projects.

Training:

After finishing my industrial science and technology baccalaureate, majoring in electrical engineering, I took a BTS (higher technical diploma) in technical engineering support (scheduling, production and quality management). I then gained extra experience in project management with a vocational degree in industrial development and creativity.

My biggest project:

Thanks to my quite varied basic technical training, I have been lucky to work on very interesting projects in several sectors.

Nonetheless, the most memorable is still supervision of the DIAPASON project for our client GRTgaz, which was how I joined SECOMAT.

The aim of this nationwide project is the full electrical overhaul of gas transfer stations. It has been ongoing for nearly 10 years and I have been fortunate enough to experience the closing stages in the last three years as the supervisor of the whole Grand Est region. 419 stations were brought into service between 2012 and 2019 for DIAPASON.

My greatest passion:

Without doubt cinema (I write reviews for a website when I have the time). But travel is also a growing passion.

My biggest dream:

I’ve got more than one dream, but my biggest is to explore other cultures. And after having had the chance to do a humanitarian mission in India in January 2018, I would now like to be able to visit Japan and discover its philosophy and traditions.

At Segula:

I have been lucky enough to work with very competent people and a very understanding and attentive manager, who did everything to ensure I could continue my assignment with GRTgaz while also managing short-term projects. That was extremely rewarding and made me want to continue improving myself.
