Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMC ICT Engineer - Construction Supervisor Stations to oversee the installation and integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems for stations in a high-profile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra, Iraq. The ICT Engineer will ensure all ICT infrastructure, including networking, telecom systems, and SCADA, is implemented in compliance with project requirements, timelines, and safety standards. This role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and experience in ICT systems within large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all ICT-related construction activities, including installation of network infrastructure, telecom systems, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and international best practices in ICT implementation.
• Review and approve ICT drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems with other project components.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of ICT hardware and software, including routers, switches, communication systems, and SCADA interfaces.
• Monitor progress of ICT installations, addressing technical challenges and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and deployment of ICT equipment and materials.
• Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring operational readiness of ICT systems.
• Promote adherence to HSE policies and ensure compliance with safety standards during all ICT-related activities.
