Our team in Bucharest is looking for a Senior Accountant, whose background will help to develop the accounting responsibilities:

• Determination of accounting and valuation methods that are aligned with corporate objectives.
• Supervision of cash management (preparation and execution of payment transactions, cash flow planning, etc.).
• Booking transactions, especially creditors, debtors, assets, banks and travel expenses as well as general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Monthly and annual preparation of financial statements and ensure group-wide reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements).
• Preparation of all controlling reports and reporting, including the presentation of relevant reports
• Responsibility for preparing variance analyses and supporting managers in achieving targets from a controlling perspective
• Provision of business-relevant information to the respective stakeholders as well as automation of processes
• Contact person for all accounting-related questions from the departments
• Ensuring compliance (audit, external governance) with legal accounting requirements and ensuring proper bookkeeping.
• Further development of accounting processes.
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
