Job Description

Responsible for development and layout of automotive electrical and electronic (EE) architectures/systems
Development and analysis of energy concepts and architectures for a safe, efficient and cost optimal power supply for electro-mobility and all other kind of vehicles systems
Interface between OEM, supplier and internal development team for all E/E architecture topics
Development of E/E system and wiring schematics based on customer requirements
Responsible for definition and selection of connectors for all EE connections
Support in function and technical safety concepts execution incl. FMEA and FTA generation and development of issue resolutions for EE topics
Responsible for proper documentation of EE system development and presentation to customers

Qualifications

Electrical/Electronical or mechatronic engineer or similar qualification
Experience in automobile E/E-topology development & architecture
Knowledge about vehicle-specific communication hardware and protocols like CAN-FD, FlexRay, automotive Ethernet and accordingly data logging/manipulation systems like Vector tool chain (CANoe/CANanalyser…)
Good knowledge in E/E-Architecture-Tools (Enterprise Architect/PREEvision)
Basics of functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
Basic knowledge in Matlab/Simulink is beneficial
Communicative, creative and open, abiliy and drive for problem-solving and still focus on customer needs and serial production
Languages: English (must-have) + German (nice-to-have)
