Encouraging diversity
The engineering sector suffers from stereotypes that keep young women away from our field. We are taking action to combat this by making gender equality a priority.
In partnership with the Elles Bougent association, we encourage young women to consider careers in the industrial and technological sectors, thanks to our female employees who act as mentors. Whether they are engineers, technicians or have scientific backgrounds, they regularly give talks in schools and at events to present their professions and explain their career paths.
In 2020, the WINS network (Women International Network at SEGULA) was created at SEGULA and has been in existence ever since. It has become a channel for discussion on the recruitment of women, employability, promotion, mobility and the issue of senior management positions.
Including people with disabilities
Given the diversity of disabilities and the specific needs that each one covers, we support our employees at every stage of their careers. All our recruitment opportunities are open to people with disabilities, guaranteeing their employability. Their integration is handled by a dedicated team of Disability Advisors, who help them to integrate into their assignments and their day-to-day working lives. The Group also runs internal awareness campaigns and external initiatives with disability experts.

Decarbonising industry while building an innovative future is a technological challenge to which all our employees are committed from the moment they arrive. This commitment starts with controlling our own environmental impact.
Today we have considerably reduced our energy consumption at our sites and are better able to control our own greenhouse gas emissions.
Our responsibility is also to create, produce and operate more sustainable services and infrastructures for our customers. At Segula, our strength in innovation and our engineers are our greatest asset in devising these new projects, which have the intelligence to optimise processes and support low-carbon energies, pollution control and recyclability.
